There are garden societies & clubs for hundreds of individual plant varieties. There are many local garden clubs with varying focuses. Plant Club is a little different. It is not meant to be instead of any of these other expressions of plant enthusiasm, it is meant to be complementary to them. 

I like plants. I don’t care if they are rare plants or nice looking weeds. I like the beauty, strangeness, ideas, science, the art, the history and the stories behind them. Vegetables and flowers. The natural and the unnatural. Plant Club is for people who just like plants, and want to experience them in these different ways. Plant Club is for everyone - from beginners to masters, the dabblers and the obsessed. To learn and discuss and hang out with and otherwise enjoy plants.

Plant Club is based in Providence, RI. We are just getting started, but hopefully the ideas will start becoming events soon. Gatherings, workshops, lectures, field trips, crafts, swaps, and more. If you have ideas, please get in touch and share them!
